The Hunt for the Perfect Travel Shoe in Europe

My Birkenstocks… my trusty light-weight, pretty slip-ons have sadly seen better days… 😳

They’ve seen a lot, but its time for them to retire. So when my mom and I embarked on a big European adventure this summer, I knew I’d be on the lookout for some new kicks.

Therefore, when I heard some friends of mine in Portugal were starting a new shoe business in Guimaraes I was ecstatic!

Enter Zouri Shoes! They’re fashionable sandals made from plastic dragged from the ocean. I know we’ve all scene the videos of the sea turtles killed by plastic bags and the trash islands floating out there just off the coast, so why not do something about it?

I’m eagerly awaiting my new Zouris and ecstatic to have found my new, perfect travel shoe. A sandal that helps the world, fits neatly in a backpack, and looks cute to boot! Check them out at http://zourishoes.com/

Zouri shoes need support! So even if you’re not in the market for some sweet new travel kicks now, then you should still go online to https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/zouri-sustainable-sandal-with-plastic-from-ocean-shoes-women#/backers and donate 5€ to suport their mission. You’ll even get a cute new beach bag for donating before the end of the month!
